GSK France Future Leaders Program– Global Manufacturing & Supply

 

What’s it all about?

This program aims to develop our future technical and functional leaders within Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) which manufactures the products that enable people to do more, feel better and live longer and ensures the delivery of quality and value to the patient at the end of the Supply Chain.

Challenging assignments will give you the chance to develop a range of business skills and a deep understanding of the manufacturing & supply chain environments.

Do I have the skills?

We are interested in graduates with :

  • an Engineering Degree with background or specialization training in automation, electrical, chemical, mechanical, packaging, biopharmaceutical or supply chain
  • a Science Degree with a background or specialization in analytical chemistry, materials science, microbiology or statistics.

Ideally, this degree should be coupled with a pharmacist’s degree. You must be fluent in English and French and have a maximum two years of previous work experience on 1st October 2016. You demonstrate strengths in communication, influencing, teamwork and problem-solving and demonstrate GSK’s values of Respect for People, Patient focus, Transparency and Integrity.

What will the programme be like?

The program lasts three years and is made up of 3 one-year stretching assignments (rotations) in different sites or parts of our business.

Where will I be based?

Mayenne and Evreux will host the candidates (first 2 rotations). Rotations will take place between those two sites. One rotation may also be considered in one of our facilities abroad.

Where can I go?

You will be developed and supported during each step of the program. Before the end of each assignment, you will work with the program sponsor to identify your next assignment. Each assignment will be appropriate to your skills development and business needs.

What will I learn?

The program will give you an in-depth insight into our manufacturing and supply chain operations and our company as a whole. The rotations will allow you to gain a breadth of experience in technical expertise, business execution, leadership expectations and personal skills. You will attend a number of “core” training courses and also have the opportunity to shape your development and attend training courses that are specific to your needs or interest. While on the program, you will be able to rely on the advice and support of a sponsor, your line manager and a mentor (a senior member of your team).

When can I start?

Start time of the program is 1 October 2015. Apply before 6th June 2015. First round of interviews will take place between 15th and 19th June. Final selection will take place during the last week of June 2015.
