We are currently offering an internship for our growing Public Affairs team located in Arnsberg-Müschede and Brussels (in central location in the European quarter) together with flexible working arrangements for the following (somewhat flexible) period: 

  • January 2025 – June 2025

Your Tasks & Resposibilities:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of WEPA’s Public Affairs
  • Attending meetings and drafting reports
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on public policy
  • Supporting the creation of WEPA´s Public Affairs profile as well as the implementation of Public Affairs objectives
  • Carrying out external Public Relation activities
  • Participating in relevant events on behalf of WEPA
  • Supporting with management tools the work on a number of projects that resulted from Public Affairs

 

Your profile:

Personality: Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, motivation, organizational skills, strong communication, pro-active self-starter mentality.

Working: Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team, highly self-responsible, driven and structured approach to fulfilling tasks and own projects, solution-oriented mindset, ability to multi-task and work under deadlines.

Experience & Know-how: First professional experience in the field of Public Affairs will be an asset, good knowledge of political institutions and the policy-making process, ability to understand and summarize public policy information and to identify key issues, drafting and writing.

Qualifications: University-level education, preferably in a related field (e.g. in politics, law, economics or management).

Languages: Good skills in written and spoken German and English.

Other: Good MS Office skills.
