  • Signalling Systems – Center of excellence ERTMS (European standard development and implementation)

JOB DESCRIPTION – Verification & Validation Engineer

As a V&V Engineer, and as a member of the Test System Team, your mission will be to operate Validation & Verification activities for the signalling projects you will be in charge with. It means:

Writing of test specifications and test criterias for trainborne or trackside sub-system acceptance in accordance with a predefined generic test strategy;

To run the tests, analyse the results and write test reports according to the predefined test specifications (lab tests)

To formalize anomalies if any, to organize review to analize anomalies and to request modifications if required.

To follow-up the setting of the test bench and tools to carry-out the tests;

To carry out regression tests after anomalies correction.

To organize and participate to the end of phase review

 To be successful in this function, you’ll certainly have to initiate and maintain regular and constructive relationships with project members and with the Product team (ERTMS-CORE, Trackside Functional Module design team…), but also occasionally with client, suppliers and partners when doing on-site testing.


Education - Engineering degree with specific training/experience in the fields of automatics, IT, or other well suited degree/background.

Experience – A first experience in Test & Integration activities or a basic knowledge of railways signalling systems are mandatory (ERTMS) would be major assets, but not mandatory! 

Young graduated are welcome!

Language – A full proficient use of French and a good level in English are mandatory.

Behavioral competencies – Teamspirit / Rigorous and reliable / good analytical & synthetical skills
