We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the areas of IT for Numerical Simulation (CAE) and Functional Development.

 

What awaits you?

  • Develop and implement ideas and techniques for the optimisation of expensive IT ressources in CAE (e.g. licenses, HPC hardware)
  • Support our optimisation activities in programs and projects aligned with our engineering users
  • Maintain our dashboards (e.g. Tableau, AWS Quicksight)

Profile description:

What should you bring along?

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Strong interest for cloud-oriented IT developement and/or Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) topics for automotive development
  • Python and ideally also Matlab programming skills.
  • Hands-on experience in developing applications.
  • Experience with data processing and data analysis.
  • Independent, solution-oriented, structured work.
