From day one, you will be immersed in logistics topics such as demand planning, transport tendering and warehouse operations. You get real responsibility and the chance to make a significant impact. Your curiosity and problem-solving abilities will play a key role in achieving our company's purpose: Making Construction Better.

Join us and be a part of something extraordinary!

Who is Hilti?

For the sixth time in 11 years, Hilti has been recognized by Great Place to Work as a top employer. Founded in 1941 by the Hilti brothers, we have over 120 locations globally with 34,000 team members. We offer innovative solutions for the construction industry, emphasizing a passionate, inclusive team and a performance-driven culture. A substantial amount of our profit goes to the Hilti Foundation, promoting societal growth and sustainable impact.

What does the role involve?

Hilti Outperformer is a two-year graduate program that gives you the opportunity to dive into a variety of international projects and gain exposure to senior management. It's a fast-paced and exciting journey, but don't worry – you will have close coaching and mentoring every step of the way!

Within the program you rotate through various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and hone your skills in different areas supporting your personal development.

The program is split into four main stages:

  • 5-6 Months Materials Management: Dive into the heart of our supply and demand planning, manage the forecasting of a product line and and experience the pulse of our business from day one.

  • 5 – 6 Months Transport management: understand our transport logistics by tendering with suppliers and impacting our carbon footprint

  • 5 – 6 Months Warehouse Management: Get a real understanding of operations and leading operational team members in our state-of-the-art warehouses.

  • 4 Months on a Strategic Project: Apply your newfound knowledge to a high-impact strategic project, driving innovation and making a tangible difference.

On top of that we will provide you with a 2 Months of Introduction & Projects in Global Logistics at our Headquarters.

Get a global perspective of our Global Logistics 2030 strategy as you tackle real-world challenges and optimize our logistics operations.

Logistic, as an independent function, is integrated in our business environment. This creates a unique opportunity to offer a full end to end experience of supply chain from managing the raw materials for our products to delivering our products on the last mile to our customers.

What do we offer?

Show us what you can do and, in return, we promise you the experience of a lifetime, the opportunity to work internationally, and a fast-track career in our global outperformer program with an unlimited contract. You’ll also take part in some fascinating courses and events:

Leadership development program – a comprehensive learning journey with IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a qualification from IMD.

Business management training – individual training at Hilti. A focus on behavioral profiles, personal strengths, leadership styles and communication skills.

Global summit – 4-5 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein. A look at the way global business units function, plus the opportunity to further develop soft skills like situational leadership and international teamwork.

Social project – 7-8 days ‘building a better future’. A hands-on and hugely impactful community project, such as our most recent: building houses for displaced refugees in Bosnia.

After the program, you are prepared to take immediate responsibility and join one of our logistics, procurement, or operations teams around the globe.

What you need is?

  • (Soon to be) completed master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar.
  • You are multilingual – fluent in English plus another language or two – and you’ve gained international experience during your work or studies abroad.
  • You are internationally mobile.
  • You are a flexible team player, curious and dedicated, with good communication skills and the ability to inspire others.
  • A high learning agility, strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on mentality and a good cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • A global thinker, eager to learn, who is keen for diverse cultural experiences and the opportunity to work abroad

Why should you apply?

We have a diverse team of people and some of our best team members joined us with no industry experience. We are more interested in your learning agility, commitment and drive to succeed. We hire for a career, not for a position: if you are looking for long-term career prospects and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, this might be the perfect start.

Are you ready to jumpstart your career? Our hiring process is designed to help you showcase your skills and experience.

  1. It all starts with your application and a video interview.
  2. Get connected with our HR team in an online interview.
  3. Get ready to flex your problem-solving muscles with our online Business Case Round.
  4. Impress our Business Line Managers with your presentation skills and insights during the next round.
  5. And, if you make it to the end, you'll receive an invitation to our Assessment Center.

Exciting, right? Let's get started!

The application deadline for the next Assessment Center is October 31st 2024.

This will take place in Liechtenstein at Hilti Headquarter on November 11th and 12th 2024.
