The internship
- You will help us to select a new cross-functional supplier risk management solution, which will support HEINEKEN in managing risks in partnership with our third parties across the globe.
- You will work on improving the performance of the local Operating Companies to our procurement KPIs and increase their compliance to our existing risk management processes.
- You get to interact with a variety of stakeholders at our Head Office and at our local Operating Companies to ensure our ambition aligns with the business value.
- You will be a part of our Procurement Governance Team, sitting in the Procurement Enablement department of HEINEKEN Global Procurement. You will be coached and supported by your experienced team members, and will work closely with the Procurement Compliance Manager, the Sustainability Compliance Manager and our external support partners.

The department
At Procurement Enablement we ensure that our teams in HEINEKEN Global Procurement are able to do what they do best: develop productive relationships with our suppliers, negotiate procurement agreements and ensure our business stakeholders are able to purchase what they need. The different teams within Procurement Enablement consist of subject matter experts in the fields of Digital Transformation, Sourcing, Contract Management, Governance and Compliance and Data & Analytics. The terms of employment
- Your starting date is 1st of September 2024
- The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
- The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- You are registered at an educational institution
- It is a practice-oriented internship
- You will be based in our Schiphol office
- You will receive an internship fee of €500
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed
The start of your internship
Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

Conditions of HEINEKEN
- You are enrolled at an educational institution.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
