Coffee Trade Student

Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Coffee Trade Student to join our growing Coffee Vertical in Aarhus. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to coffee trading. Your primary focus will be to support trading activities, facilitate efficient trade execution, and assist in improving internal processes.
In collaboration with the team, you will contribute to structuring workflows, maintaining accurate trade documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with buyers, sellers, and internal stakeholders. We offer approximately 20 hours a week, with tasks including:
- Assisting in managing trade books, tracking positions, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Supporting traders with timely correspondence and coordination across stakeholders.
- Conducting market research on counterparties, origin markets, and pricing trends.
- Handling and organizing coffee sample processes, including timely distribution.
- Assisting in the development and integration of systems to enhance scalability.
We believe that hands-on experience is key to learning, and as we continue to develop our Coffee Vertical, we are focused on long-term growth, aiming for potential team expansion over time. As part of professional development, the role may also gradually include opportunities for international travel.
Expected skills & Experience:
In this role, you’ll join an international culture where English is the corporate language, so we expect you to be comfortable communicating both in written and spoken English. Additionally, we expect that you:
- Are enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Are proactive, independent, and structured in your work approach.
- Have an interest in trading, markets and developing relations.
- Are a problem solver with willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Have skills in Excel (VBA).
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with external partners
