About the Team:
At UberEats, the Sales teams are responsible for curating the selection of restaurants available on the app across Belgium. Their goal is to ensure a diverse and comprehensive range of dining options in every area the platform serves, while also identifying local gems that can drive Uber Eats' growth and enhance the overall customer experience. To achieve this, Sales identifies, canvasses, negotiates and accompanies restaurants to convince them to adopt a new sales channel: delivery via the UberEats app
About the role:
You will be immersed in Uber’s high-impact Sales team and will partner with a mentor and a host of other team resources to experience the dynamics of the Tech and Delivery world. As a Sales Intern at Uber Eats, you'll begin by focusing on inbound sales, assisting restaurants that are interested in joining our platform. Over time, you'll also engage in outbound sales, identifying new restaurant partners and helping them see the value of Uber Eats.
The Sales Internship is a phenomenal opportunity to demonstrate your interpersonal skills and sales abilities to expand Uber Eats' reach. Who are we looking for? Someone who is a natural at selling and influencing, knows where the best eats are around town, is passionate about food and Uber, and enjoys negotiating to build the best partnerships. You will hone your skills in prospecting and learning key sales processes that will set up new restaurant partners for success.
What You’ll Do
The Sales Internship offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate your sales acumen and contribute to growing Uber Delivery. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales and relationship building in a fast-paced, growing environment:
- Clearly present Uber Eats' services, values and projects to restaurant owners (prospects), to make them want to join us.
- Develop and apply prospecting skills to build strong partnerships with restaurants in your designated territory.
- Clearly communicate the value of Uber and its latest products to potential partners
- Work closely with the Operations Team and Account Managers to successfully onboard and activate new restaurant partners
- Serve as an ambassador for Uber Eats' mission, brand, and product offerings
- Proactively engage with prospects through various channels including email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings
Basic Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for the full duration of the internship
- Available to start on 3rd February 2025 and work full-time for 6 months
- Work authorisation in Belgium - No visa sponsorship is available for internships
- Language Proficiency: Dutch [Native], Fluent English. French language skills are a plus.
- Graduation Timeline: Summer 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus
- Experience in sales through case competitions, student organizations, internships, or work experience
- Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Willingness to take initiative, work collaboratively, and build relationships with high-value partners
- Clear communication and strong persuasive skills
