The Group's Head Office, located at 75 quai d'Orsay Paris 7th, brings together the main cross-functional activities such as but not limited to controlling, compliance, marketing, legal, finance, human resources, shareholder relations, communication, etc.
This unique internship opportunity is located within the Group General Control and Compliance department, more specifically the function of the Group Internal Control. You will therefore have a direct reporting line to the Group Director of Internal Control.
The Internal Control (IC) is a system implemented within the Group (in similarity with other large multinational Corporations) that is aimed to ensure that activities of Air Liquide and the conduct of its collaborators comply with applicable laws, regulations, external and internal standards and best practices. For example, that the financial data of the organization is fair, accurate and is timely reconciled, that customers and suppliers undergo specific compliance assessment before being dealt with, or that the organizational matrix does not contain any major segregation of duties conflicts. Additionally, a strong Internal Control system prevents financial frauds and involuntary errors, and therefore increases financial margin of the organization by reducing inefficiencies.

During your internship the main missions that will be entrusted to you are as follows:
- Contribution to the management of the Internal Control activity throughout production and analysis of key indicators for monitoring the Internal Control self-assessment campaigns.
- Support in preparation of presentations to the Executive Committee of the Group and the Audit and Accounts Committee (e.g. Board of Directors).
- Participation in projects, both digital (e.g. creation of world-wide Power BI dashboards related to Internal Control activity and its maturity) and organizational (e.g. deployment of the IC frameworks).
- Creation of methodological support for the Internal Control network and other Operational staff of the organization and support of the Group Internal Control Director in conducting various related training.
- Management and administration of the Internal Control communication tools: IC Intranet, IC Community and IC Space.
Etes-vous LA personne faite pour ce poste ?
Studies: Business School / Engineering School / IAE / Master Audit / Political Sciences (preferably gap year). The expected qualities/skills are as follows:
- Qualities: rigor, dynamism, autonomy, curiosity, strong capacity for analysis and synthesis.
- Tools: advanced user of the MS Office (in particular Excel) or Google Suit, (in particular Google sheets), knowledge of MS Power BI is considered to be a big advantage for your application.
- Languages: Fluent English essential (your direct manager will be an English-speaking person).
- What can be a plus: Initial experience in internal or external audit or management control, knowledge of ERP/accounting applications and/or Power BI.
