📆 Start date: July 2024

At Columbia, we’re as passionate about the outdoors as you are. And while our gear is available worldwide, we’re proud to be based in the Pacific Northwest, where natural wonders are our playground.

Every product we make and every task we undertake is inspired by the famous words of our founder Gert Boyle: “It’s perfect. Now make it better.” As pioneers of relentless improvement, we are constantly evolving.

Discover a world of diversity within our team of 700+ across 13 European countries, united by the common goal of elevating Columbia to the pinnacle of outdoor brands in Europe. Our omnichannel approach seamlessly integrates Columbia and Sorel brands' engaging in-store and online experiences.

Nestled at the heart of the Alps in Geneva, Switzerland, our European headquarters hosts the Executive Committee, go-to-market functions, and Planning and Logistics teams. In Schiltigheim, near Strasbourg, our shared services center thrives with over 100 professionals managing Finance and Operations/Customer Service. Our distribution center in Cambrai ensures swift delivery to customers, while our 30+ Columbia stores adorn major European outlet centers. Finally, the Sales and Trade Marketing teams are displayed in 3 different regions across Europe, close to their customers and markets.

We believe the outdoors is ours to protect and strive to keep our planet healthy. We believe in empowering people to experience the outdoors to the fullest.

And we believe in you.

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Content Team is part of a wider E-commerce team and oversees the production of all digital assets for our Columbia and SOREL European websites (2 brands, 5 languages, 22 websites), newsletters and marketing banners.

The E-commerce team includes 15 people split in 3 teams: Buying, Digital Marketing and Content. The Content team is composed of 4 people with diverse roles (team management, copywriting, asset management, scheduling, web design, testing).

The role of the Content team is to provide a flawless on-site user experience and to support various other teams in their initiatives (brand marketing, traffic acquisition etc.).

To reach this goal the team needs to stay up to date with numerous projects from several teams, manage multiple deadlines, execute content production according to brand guidelines, keep in touch with our US headquarters, and follow the performance of produced content.

The Content team needs extra support in the second half of the year to support new collection launches and key business opportunities like Black Friday and the winter sale.

During this 6 month internship, and by supporting each team member, you will gain extensive knowledge about the functioning of an e-commerce content team and will dive into each role, understanding the responsibilities and constraints of each.

You will take an active part in all aspects of content creation such as:

  • Thorough training in content production management
  • Coordination of translation needs
  • Asset management and resizing
  • Training in web design best practices
  • Content localization
