Raw Materials Manager (m/f/d)


You are interested to use your exposure to consultancy or project management in a role as Raw Materials Manager CEE (m/f/d) to help us shape the future ?

Based in Berlin, you will be working within an international environment and be responsible for setting up and driving commodity strategies, processes and decisions in the Region Central Eastern Europe (CEE) with the Raw Materials team. Your team consists of 9 Raw Material Commodity buyers in the countries Germany, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic

You will negotiate with suppliers defining the appropriate commercial conditions including pricing mechanism and drive, coach and support the raw material buyers in the countries to increase their skills and reach the agreed targets.

The role offers the opportunity to grow within the purchasing function within 3-5 years.

  • Ability to lead the Raw Material team
  • Ability to change and structure processes
  • Strong “commercial DNA”
  • Strong knowledge of Data Analysis, Data Management, Excel
  • Strong communication skills and able to build relationships with different stakeholders
  • Experience as a Commodity Buyer or Strategic Buyer is preferred
  • Experience in a matrix organisation preferred
  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and German
