Crown Holdings Inc. produces innovative metal packaging products to consumer marketing companies around the world. Our Bevcan Europe & MENA Business is a major supplier of beverage packaging to some of the biggest FMCG brands.
We are now looking to recruit a Finance Analyst reporting to the Plant Controller and based in Parma (Italy). This is a new plant to produce Aluminium Beverage cans, working 24/7. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join a multinational organisation, with the ability to provide worldwide opportunities.

Your main areas of responsibilities will be to:
• Ensure strong internal controls framework is in place and compliance to internal policies;
• Control, alert and implement corrective actions in case of identified financial issues.
• Liaise with Shared Service Centre (SSC) for Italy to ensure all costs are properly accrued and coordinate with other departments accordingly.
• Liaise with SSC to ensure credit limits are respected and payments and overdues are properly followed up.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and analyse variance against standard manufacturing costs.
• Guarantee the accuracy of sales and COGS data
• Liaise with the Commercial Team on sales prices, contracts, rebate accruals and LME reconciliations.
• Perform and review SOX controls.
• Execute month-end closing activities under the supervision of the finance team.
• Review and execute housekeeping activities on balance sheet accounts.

A graduate in Business Finance Control/Accounting, you have at least 2-3 years accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You possess good analytical skills and have a full  appreciation of variable, fixed costs and margin analysis and an experience of report writing for management. You enjoy working to tight deadlines in a complex and demanding environment. You have a strong knowledge of Excel. A working experience on SAP is preferred. You have good communication and presentation skills.  You have excellent verbal and writing skills in Italian and English. Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley would be a plus.  We are looking for a team player, with a high level of organization and administrative skills.
