Business Analyst I - Sales Operations Shared Services (Renewals)

Reporting to: Manager, Sales Operations Shared Services

This candidate is responsible for deliverables/tasks/initiatives as part of his/her role in the Sales Operations Shared Services org. in India (Bangalore) supporting the Renewals businesses worldwide. An ideal candidate will be responsible for E2E business processes, metrics standardization, project/programme management and benchmarking processes; performing outlined responsibilities designated under the process he/she would support.

The team is looking for a detail oriented and analytically driven individual. This role will expand to strategically working within the Shared Services Org. and the Sales Operations (Renewals) teams worldwide. This is a multi-functional sales operations role. The ideal candidate must demonstrate hands-on expertise/experience/knowledge in CRM applications viz. SFDC, Oracle EBS, SAP, etc. incl., but not limited to, opportunity/forecasting/pipeline management, partner management and data remediation efforts. Exposed to the areas like S/W products and services sales operations, Sr. Management level metrics representation, stakeholder relationship management, metrics analysis, etc.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Pipeline management and revenue forecasting, regional account planning support, opportunity & sales management and generic account management
  • Generating sales data related pipeline/forecasting/achievement reports
  • Reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue reports
  • During a project lifecycle, understand the objective, business problem at hand, business processes, issues and operational challenges and then work with appropriate stakeholders to address and resolve them
  • Collaborate and provide inputs on projects / UATs as required
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews to management, including attainment against defined KPIs
  • Continually work on process improvements and standardization in conjunction with the functional leaders
  • Identify opportunities, create, reengineer and implement processes which improve the effectiveness of global delivery teams - Challenge the status quo!


Requisite Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of industry experience in Sales Operations; preferred
  • Experience in managing enterprise-wide project(s) with industry-wide accepted CRMs/ERPs (SAP, SFDC, Oracle EBS, etc.). Intermediate SFDC (incl. Reporting & Dashboards) and Beginner SAP
  • Preferred experience in delivering big-ticket projects which have resulted in cost savings, automation of tools and services for field thereby maximizing revenue opportunities, improving efficiency and ease of doing business
  • Capable of understanding business requirements, business processes and systems analysis, data analysis, systems development methodologies, business/technical liaising and workflow
  • Experience in Quoting, Partner Operations or Marketing Operations will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to learn systems quickly with little or no guidance; capability to drive and implement excel based solutions (Intermediate hands-on expertise on MS Excel)
  • Good to have: Basic - Tableau/Power BI/Project Mgmt/BPEX
  • Good verbal and written communication skills - ability to lead business conference calls with stakeholders GLOBALLY, organizational abilities and proven attention to detail
  • Passion for competition and the ability to maintain personable working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to initiate process improvement plans and drive for change
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams
  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
  • A self-starter, able to manage multiple tasks at once and the ability to work with minimal direction
  • Must be highly motivated and flexible to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to working in shifts, extended working hours & during weekends; incase of a business need.

Educational Requirement: A Bachelor in any discipline is required.
