The Team
This team operates at the centre of the world’s debt and equity markets, providing sales and trading services, liquidity, hedging strategies and industry-leading insights, analytics and competitive pricing to more than 9,000 institutional clients across six continents.
Whichever team you choose to apply to across Global Corporate, Investment Banking or Global Markets, you’ll offer market-making, financing, securities-clearing, settlement and custody services globally to our institutional investor clients in support of their investing and trading activities. You’ll help our clients better understand current market conditions and offer capital solutions to meet their short- and long-term goals. You’ll also work with our commercial and corporate clients to provide risk management products using interest rate, equity, credit, currency and commodity derivatives, as well as foreign exchange, fixed-income and mortgage-related products.

Programme overview
Interns will work in an exciting and fast paced environment fully supported by managers, buddies, mentors and Global Banking and Markets colleagues. Interns will have the opportunity to complete 3 rotations during their internship across Sales and Trading.
Training and Development
Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Eligibility
- Applications are accepted from a diverse range of degree disciplines such as the arts and humanities, as well as numerically focused subjects such as economics and mathematics
- Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Academic semester and all studies should be complete, with a graduation timeframe between September 2025 and June 2026.
- Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
- Must be available to join the programme from June – August 2025
