Job description

You'll be working within the software development team and be involved in the development of our software solutions. While initially you will be learning the specific programmes and languages, as you develop in the role, you will help to shape the design and development software behind Drone Defence's services going forward. Typical day-to-day activities will include:

  • Working alongside a full-stack developer to implement interactive and responsive UIs, such as real-time geographic charting, using one of the common front-end languages and frameworks.
  • Being creative and coming up with new ways to display data coming from various hardware systems in the clearest manner and enhance our products using the latest technologies
  • Wireframing and prototyping designs using prototyping tools.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies and standards
  • Performing debugging, verification, usability testing
  • Creation of technical documentation for internally developed software components
  • Defining the best practice, design patterns and coding standards for user interface development
  • Designing and implementing stunning graphics and animation

COVID-19 start details: you will be required to work in the office (following up to date government COVID guidelines)

Qualifications

A graduate of any degree discipline, provided you have demonstrable coding experience in one (or more) of the following: javascript/typescript, CSS, HTML
