About the role: 

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Cyber Developer and can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Work in a very versatile position mixing development, integration, validation and security aspects.


Your Impact:


  • You will be in charge of developing low-level software components while respecting strong security constraints.
  • You will have to manage the integration of components within a critical system.
  • You will ensure the quality of deliverables and validate their behaviour in a secure environment.
  • You will participate in the study, design and prototyping phases of developments.


Additional job activity details:


  • Development of low-level components (drivers, modules, etc.) up to kernel space.
  • Integration and modification of COTS in the system taking into account security constraints.
  • Monitoring of Cyber Defense technologies and defense in depth techniques.
  • Advice and support from technical managers or project managers.
  • Interactions with customers to take into account and guide their needs.


Your Boarding Pass:


  • Background as a Software Development Engineer.
  • You have expertise in the field of low-level development (Linux kernel space), ideally within a strong security environment.
  • Good general culture on systems, system security, computer attacks.
  • You know the following development languages and demonstrate real experience with them: C, Python.
  • You have experience working in a Linux and FreeBSD/HardenedBSD environment.
  • Ideally, you have good knowledge of defense in depth techniques (containers, OS hardening, hypervisor, etc.).
  • Dynamic, rigorous, endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, passionate about your job and with a taste for service.

 

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotation on a different mission.


At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as an Embedded OS Developer .

 

What the you will need to apply: 

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have: 



  • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
  • You must be graduating before September 2024, or have graduated in the past 3 years. You must not have industry experience spanning more than 3 years.
  • A good understanding of business administration and an interest in both strategic and business. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
