Job description

The Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) team helps other teams at Jupiter to improve their business processes, making them more efficient, robust, auditable, and easier to manage. The team is comprised of developers and business analysts and manages projects end-to-end, including analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. The team has a large and diverse book of work and makes use of a range of technologies including SharePoint, SQL, Power BI, Powershell and IBM BPM.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Analysing, understanding, and documenting business processes
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements
  • Problem solving issues that arise from the day to day running of processes that the IPA Team support
  • Communicating with other Jupiter teams and external software providers relating to issues, suggested improvements, and participating with other users in the various communities
  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios
  • Supporting the operational teams during testing and rollout
  • Complete daily tasks such as checking the support mailbox, ownership of issues and escalating problems where necessary
  • System tasks and maintenance, including user setup, SharePoint library configuration
  • Designing process solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform with the support of the Head of Process Solutions

This role will be eligible to participate in the Company's more flexible 2-1-2 working arrangement. Two days Tuesday and Thursday's are prescribed days where all employees should work from the office and one other office day can be chosen by you and two days worked from home.

What we are looking for

  • A self-starter able to develop their own knowledge and skills, with an interest in new and emerging technologies that aid in automating tasks and processes
  • A problem solver who is inquisitive, questioning and has good attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator who can explain technical problems to non-technical audiences
  • Flexibility and adaptability. With multiple projects running concurrently, and existing processes to support, we need someone who can respond to shifting priorities at short notice
Previous experience is not required. However, the main skills and technologies used in the team that the trainee must be keen to develop are:

  • Business process modelling using IBM BlueworksLive to document automated solutions using BPMN 2.0
  • The Microsoft Power Platform
  • Development using the Agile methodology
