You'll start your career on our fully-funded, NEBOSH-accredited regulators' training programme. This postgraduate diploma gives you the skills, and legal and technical know-how, to enforce the law where and when you need to. The programme takes up to three years to complete, after which you'll be a fully qualified HM Inspector of Health and Safety.
Of course, what we do can be extremely challenging - whether we're speaking with grieving families in their home or giving evidence to a company lawyer in a court of law. But you'll find the support you receive from us is incredible - and it will be there from the moment you join. You'll benefit from an unparalleled network of colleagues and managers and their valuable experience and expertise.
As you might expect, this role can take you to all sorts of workplaces and conditions, in all kinds of locations, and you might have to access various parts of a workplace, including accessing some spaces at height.
Join us, and you'll help to make Great Britain one of the safest places to work in the world. You'll help to save lives, prevent many more injuries, and reduce the economic and social costs of health and safety failures.
In fact, you'll do some of the most vital work there is, making a visible and significant difference to thousands of people and businesses. And because you'll work within government, you'll enjoy all the rewards of a career with the Civil Service.
With HSE, you can work in a range of diverse locations all over Great Britain. You can study within working hours and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
You can make our world - and yours - a safer, healthier place to be.
