Imerys, the world leader in mineral-based specialties for industry, is looking for a Communications Apprentice or intern to work on internal communications and Group projects.
Imerys has recently reorganized itself and communication is crucial to ensure our employees understand the changes the company is going through.
In a very international context, the successful candidate will report to the Employee & Leadership communications Director and will be part of the Group Communication department.
The apprentice’s role will include and is not limited to:
the creation of the Group’s internal news: sourcing topics, drafting articles, working with the editorial agency, measuring the performance
Managing the monthly newsletter
Populating the Group’s intranet on a daily basis with news, fresh content. Collaborate with the digital team on making sure the intranet is a relevant, accessible tool
Work with the Communications Business Partners to deliver campaigns on safety, CSR, Human Resources, IT etc..
Support the team in the organization of internal events
Support the Communications for Imerys’ head office.(wellness programs, safety event, campaigns etc..)
From time to time, the candidate will also be involved in other projects and activities connected to the Group Communication department.
Completing a master or MA degree in communication
Previous experience in an international environment (internship, temporary position…) would be appreciated
Ability to perform all aspects of role on a daily basis in English
Master the key steps of project management
Experience with Google’s G Suite, video production and image editing software a plus
Fluent in English (verbal and written) and French preferred. Any other language is an advantage.
