The Internship Assignment

It is extremely important to our mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy that charging is convenient abundant, and reliable for all owners. In order to provide customers a seamless experience we're constantly growing the Tesla charging network and expanding existing sites. We are also broadening our charging locations at highway locations, destinations, at home and at workplaces. Tesla provides a seamless, consistent charging experience across Europe, from the North Cape to Portugal, and from Ireland to Croatia.

We are looking for an intern to support the DACH region with the strategic and data driven improvement of Tesla’s customer experience within the charging network. The charging network is a very important part of our goals of promoting e-mobility and accelerating the global transition to sustainable mobility. As part of our fast-paced culture and one of the biggest networks in Europe, you can benefit from a steep learning curve and complete ownership from day one.


Learning goals & tasks

  • Gather required data, run experiments, and develop metrics for customer satisfaction across entire customer journey
  • Deploy a “test and learn” approach to test hypotheses and iterate towards a seamless customer journey
  • Ensure that measurable impact is at the core of our operations, by defining customer experience and matching it against the status quo
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to achieve common project goals


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Science, Econometrics, or equivalent 
  • Previous experience in fast-paced environment (consulting, startup, VC, etc.) and implementation of customer journeys within the eCommerce or mobility-/transportation fields
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement impactful solutions as well as conducting market research
  • High energy, results driven and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to travel intensively (up to 50%)
  • Fluency in English, German and other European language skills are a plus
