Project description:

In the frame of BIL’s strategic plan, Create2025, BIL is engaged in an ambitious multi-year transformation plan. One of the biggest challenges of this plan is the replacement of BIL’s core banking platform and along with it, the multi-channel dependent platforms.

A new Transformation Organization mixing Business and IT skills, has been setup in order to deliver those strategic components. This organization is under the umbrella of the Chief Transformation Officer.


Main mission:

Within the Channels Value Chain composed of an agile team mixing business and IT (internals and externals) delivering our BILnet web/mobile-banking and the Openbanking APIs, the Channels business analyst will be in charge of the following activities:

Sparring partner of the Channels product owner

Analyze, challenge and review the business projects’ inputs and identify the products, services impacted

Translate the analysis in processes and use cases as well as requirements

Factualize the impact of those new processes and use cases through data analysis

Act as a connector between product owner/ project manager, business stakeholders and dev. Teams by

Communicating to IT the business issues encountered

Providing to business the available solutions proposed by IT

Become an expert in Value Chain’s specific fields (and is an authority in these fields)

Consolidate the new processes / functions into a capability map with the domain analysts

When required, translate the new processes /functions into a conceptual data model

Support testing by validating the functionality of the delivered product according to the requirement specifications

Support run of the product

Support change activities by documenting procedures, drafting training materials, etc…

Profile description:

Must Have Requirements


Proven experience in business analysis, mainly in the web/mobile-banking and Openbanking domains

Ready to work in an agile mode/mind-set and open to new working methods

Good organization and communication skills

Pragmatic and result oriented


Specific skills:

Excellent business knowledge (a banking business or/and risk or finance knowledge is a plus)

Excellent adaption skills in complex situation

Fluent in French and English (other language is a plus)

Software integration experience is a plus

Project/documentation tooling knowledge like JIRA, HP ALM or HOPEX is a plus


Education level: Master's Degree
Work experience: 4-5 years
