As part of the service offering of PwC Belgium Risk Consulting, we are helping clients deal with risks stemming from their (large) capital and infrastructure projects. This is a new service offering for which we will closely collaborate with our network of firms in neighbouring countries to leverage their experience on this type of engagement. 

We are looking for someone to join us on this journey and help build something great.
 

What you’ll learn and do

Challenging large-scale projects - You support our clients in the development, planning and execution of their complex and forward-looking large-scale projects, e.g. in the areas of infrastructure, real estate or industrial plant construction.

More concretely, this means that you provide your support and expertise in: 

  • Organising and coordinating the study team;

  • Drawing up the construction programme in consultation with the client;

  • Drawing up the study and execution planning in consultation with all members of the project team;

  • Selecting, directing and coordinating suppliers and contractors;

  • Preparation of administrative specifications;

  • Permanently manage the planning, budget and quality of the work;

  • Compliance with sustainability objectives in construction;

  • Presiding over (site) meetings; and/or

  • Administrative management of the execution of the construction works.

Successful teamwork –In interdisciplinary project teams, you advise clients as well as external contractors, project developers and investors on the realisation of their investment projects. Our range of services includes, for example, construction project controlling, risk-oriented project audits, organisational consulting and the implementation of improvement initiatives.

Digital transformation —Advising our clients on the digitalisation of their operating model is also part of your service spectrum. For example, you support the introduction of digital planning and construction or the use of new technologies and data & analytics solutions.

A wide range of possibilities – In addition to working in our team, you can gain unique experience by collaborating in the international PwC network, e.g. in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuation & Strategy or Forensics.

Who you are 

  • You have successfully completed your studies in (civil) engineering, architecture or a comparable field.

  • You have a strong interest in complex construction projects and have relevant expertise in design, construction or project management through relevant sector expertise. 

  • You have previous relevant professional experience (e.g. through relevant internships) in real estate or project development, construction project management or facility management.

  • You are a strong communicator, innovation-oriented individual with a high degree of initiative and always apply your analytical skills in the interest of team success.

  • In addition to a confident use of all MS Office products, you ideally bring along further industry-specific software and tools knowledge.

  • Very good English and Dutch, a knowledge of German or French as well as the flexibility and willingness to travel in a consulting environment completes your profile.
