We specialize in cross-border M&A transactions across a wide array of sectors between Europe/US and Latin America with values ranging from US$200mm – US$1bn+.


Since its inception, Euro Latina Finance has advised 25 successful transactions out of a total of c. 60 M&A projects, including some transformational and landmark cross-border deals into/from Latin America such as the acquisition of Walmart Brasil by Advent (US/Brazil), the restructuring of Vale New Caledonia (France/Brazil) or the advisory of French industrial laundry group Elis on its build-up strategy in LatAm (8 transactions of all sizes advised over 8 years).

Description of the Position 

 

To support its strong development of Euro Latina Finance and the execution of its growing pipeline, the firm is currently looking for a VIE Junior Analyst to join our office in Brazil.

 

The Role: Junior Analyst (M&A)

 

The VIE Junior Analyst will work with our senior team across different countries. He/she will be involved in a portfolio of transactions in Latin America, with a primary focus on Brazil and Colombia.

 

The VIE Junior Analyst will be a key and integral part of the team, conducting the analysis of a wide variety of deal opportunities across different geographies, with determinant involvement throughout all stages of the M&A process.

 

The Junior Analyst will be responsible for:

(i)             Analyzing companies’ financial statements and create financial models

(ii)            Preparing transaction related supporting materials and analyses

(iii)          Taking an active role in transaction execution by preparing project related materials (CIM, Teaser, Management Presentation, Pitch Book, List of Potential Investors, etc) and coordinating diligence and presentations to various stakeholders

(iv)          Preparing proposals and presentations for clients and prospects

(v)            Executing detailed tasks required in all phases of M&A transactions

(vi)          Managing the workflow and coordinating intern’s work.

Qualifications

 

·      Top academic performance in a leading Business or Engineering school

·      Previous successful experience in M&A, preferably from a top tier investment bank, a leading PE fund or a Transaction Services firm

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Excellent Excel / Power Point / Word skills

·      Fluency in French, English and Portuguese and/or Spanish (at least 3 of the 4 languages)
