Excellent Business English is required with at least one of the following languages being an advantage, but not essential: French, Swedish, Dutch/Flemish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic.

About the team

As one Midmarket Team (MM) we represent one of SAP’s fastest growth areas, particularly in the Cloud. Our goal is to accelerate SAP´s market share in MM, and the purpose of our Business Development Teams is to engage with the right prospect, at the right time and with the right message. This is the start of converting prospects into new customers. We do this by leveraging innovative digital sales tools to give our prospects a great first experience with SAP.

Who you are

You will be someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You will also have a desire to get to know how a large corporation like SAP processes its data and manages its internal processes. You will thrive as you work on meaningful innovative projects and be energized by lifelong learning. Finally, we value candidates who pay attention to details, listen actively so they can deliver high quality work and demonstrate drive, proactivity, collaboration.


And you must 

•  Be at least in your third year of Bachelor or equivalent academic education or perhaps you are later in your education cycle and looking for your first career step

•  Ensure that, under Spanish law, your university will sign a tri-party agreement, without this we cannot consider your application

•  Be studying in one of the following ideal fields with a commercial focus. Such as Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Data/ Process Management, IT/Digital Transformation, etc

•  Be ready to commit to a full-time 6-month placement (Full time is 39.5 hours per week.)

•  Possess some knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Canva, ideally along with Python, R, Power BI, and SharePoint

Your mission as an intern is to help our teams engage with prospects at the right time and with the right key decision maker so we can hopefully turn them into SAP customers in the future. Your actions will eventually allow our Account Executives (Sales) to ultimately have a strong pipeline of potential customers. This way, you will ultimately contribute to SAP’s revenue growth in our MM business segment.

During your non-customer facing placement, you will impact this important part of SAP’s work by learning some of the following activities:

•   Ensuring that our data quality is in the best shape possible

•   Creating prospect target account lists with intelligent segmentation tools

•   Using reporting tools to track campaign performance, prospect engagement

•   Create landing pages for volume campaigns or Account Based Marketing (ABM)

And you will also proactively find your own successor by acting as an advocate, such as promotion via social media, university, job boards, etc.
