Fundamental Skills
- HTML: Understanding of HTML5 and semantic web markup.
- CSS: Proficiency with CSS3.
- Responsive Design: Ability to create interfaces that work on various devices and screen sizes.
- JavaScript: Solid understanding of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, ES6 features, and asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
- Version Control/Git: Knowledge of version control systems
- JavaScript Libraries: Familiarity with React .
- APIs: Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
- Understanding HTTPS: Know why HTTPS is essential, how it works, and its benefits over HTTP.
- Cross-Browser Development: Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.
Additional Skills
- State Management: Understanding of state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Context API).
- Package Managers: Proficiency with package managers like npm or yarn.
- APIs: Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
- Source Code Management: Familiarity with source code management tools like GitHub or GitLab
- DevTools: Proficiency with browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
- Command Line: Comfortable using the command line for various tasks.
- Security Basics: Understanding of basic security principles (CORS, CSP, HTTPS, tokens).
- SEO Basics: Knowledge of basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles for web development.
- Implementing Secure Connections: Basic knowledge of how to implement HTTPS on a website, including obtaining and installing SSL/TLS certificates.
- Troubleshooting Security Warnings: Ability to identify and fix issues related to security, such as mixed content warnings or expired certificates.
