Within the Corporate and Investment Bank, you will be attached to the Corporate Lending
team from which we service French headquartered corporates with c. €1bn in revenues in a wide range of sectors on lending transactions. In close collaboration with other stakeholders such as the Sector Coverage, Capital Markets & Advisory, and Sustainable Finance departments we strive to make the ING difference by applying Sector Expertise, being a Sustainability Pioneer, and combining Global Reach and Local Expertise.
DoING
As a "Corporate Lending Intern - Origination & Execution", you will assist the team in all their functions from origination to the execution of financing transactions alongside the Transaction Managers and Senior Bankers and the management of a portfolio of clients alongside the Portfolio Manager.
- Origination: you will participate in marketing efforts with our clients by targeting 'Lead Lending' roles in strategic financing transactions; You will prepare commercial presentations (“pitch”) as well as financial models in order to present financing options to our clients.
- Execution: you will contribute to credit analysis, negotiation of legal documentation, and structuring of financing solutions.
BeING
This internship is to kick-off in June/July 2025 for a duration of 6 months.
- You come from a Bac +4/5 university, business school, or engineering school with a Banking or Finance specialization
- You are comfortable in English, both written and spoken
- You are recognized for your analytical skills, your critical sense, and your synthetic mind
- You are methodical and rigorous, and you have excellent interpersonal skills
- You are proficient in Excel (complex formulas, pivot table, VBA being a plus, etc.)
- You know how to demonstrate curiosity, open-mindedness and proactivity and know how to manage several files simultaneously
- You have an appetite for the highly regulated banking world and risk management
- You have proven your open-mindedness and curiosity by actively participating in personal or professional projects as part of internships demonstrating real content in financial analysis.
