The Drive Systems Functional Software department is responsible for the development of innovative drive software as well as the development of safety concepts for all drive control units. The advertised position is in the Functional Safety Powertrain & Transmission Monitoring team. The task is to support functional safety (FuSa) management at both the component and system levels. In an international and interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to get to know the system, component, and software development for both electric and hybrid drives at Mercedes-Benz

Your tasks in detail:
- Project management support in the area of FuSi Powertrain: setting up JIRA boards; maintaining and processing JIRA tickets
- Supporting and implementing milestone and schedule planning
- Assisting in the creation of safety analyses and assessment preparation
- Supporting the creation of management presentations
- Conducting test planning, test implementation, test evaluation, and test reporting
- You are an enrolled student in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics or similar study university degree
- Fluent German (minimum B2) or English (minimum B2) required
- Hands on experience in Projekt Coordination or Safety Management shall be an advantage
- Experience in ISO-26262 Safety Management shall be an advantage
- Experience with Quality Standards (e.g. Automotive SPICE) shall be an advantage
- Core-Tools expertise: 1. Microsoft Office 2. Jira 3. IBM Rational DOORS (Next gen) 4. Confluence
- You are passionate about electric Powertrains or hybrid powertrains
- Exceptional proactiveness and problem-solving skills
