Internship program:
Our internship program is designed with you in mind. It all starts with our belief that the next big idea can come from anyone, anywhere at any time.
It is tailored to candidates who as a part of their studies are required to or have an interest in practical industry experience, in the form of an Internship or Special Course in advanced software development. This type of internship is normally unpaid and is credited from the university in the form of ECTS. We collaborate with the majority of universities in Denmark including KEA.
During your internship you will become a member of a scrum agile team, where you will support project delivery and be a part of a complex system integration project life cycle; such as participating in conducting PoC, code creation, maintaining and developing delivery pipelines, performing testing, etc. You will be able to familiarize yourself with the project requirements for each project area, interact with remote teams and be coached by our senior software engineers.
Our scrum teams predominantly work from the office and have dedicated scrum facilities. As Intern at Motorola Solutions Denmark, you will always have access to the team knowledge during the whole internship period and are expected to work from the office. Our facility is located at Glostrup, has a very nice canteen and is very close to the Glostrup station.
We are primarily looking for software developers with a good basic understanding of software development from practical work at education or previous internship.
We are using procedural, object oriented and functional programming languages depending on the team: C, C++, Rust, Python, JS and Elixir. As delivery pipelines we use Jenkins and GitHUB. For a successful internship some experience with the above technologies is a plus but not a requirement, as we value more understanding of programming paradigms and programming methods and desire to learn.
