Tasks
- Localising English marketing content (including web and social media copy, videos and newsletters) into Dutch
- Acting as Nintendo Benelux's primary contact for queries relating to content localisation and implementation
- Assuring the quality of Dutch marketing copy and ensuring content is consistent, market-appropriate and in line with the Nintendo voice
- Collaborating with the product localisation department to ensure marketing copy accurately represents software as well as occasional assistance with game localisation
- Cooperating closely with the Content Marketing Translation Coordination co-translator, sharing translation responsibilities and maintaining a unified style and tone
Requirements
- Degree in translation, linguistics or related field
- Extensive translation experience, preferably within content marketing or the games industry
- Native Dutch speaker, mastery of English language
- Ability to multitask and to perform under pressure
- Strong communicator
- Team player, skilled in liaising between a broad range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of and passion for Nintendo IP and video games in general
- Experience using CAT tools (SDL Trados, MemoQ) as well as knowledge of project management platforms such as Asana or Wrike would be a plus
