Job Description

We are seeking an Adviser / Senior Adviser in our Risk Services department

Our Risk Advisory team offers technology solutions for Financial Risk Management and Regulatory reporting topics for investment funds, asset managers and banks. In reason of the ongoing expansion of our service offering, we are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our team and contribute to the development of financial risk management monitoring (investment risk, market risk, liquidity risk) and other reporting services.

What you will be working on

  • Data Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data infrastructure that supports the collection, storage, and processing of large datasets. Ensure scalability and reliability of data systems to accommodate the growing needs of our risk services.
  • Data Transformation: Lead initiatives for data cleansing, transformation, and integration to ensure high data quality and consistency. Utilize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis and reporting.
  • Model Implementation: Work closely with quantitative analysts to implement and enhance risk models. Translate model requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of models into our software systems.
  • Collaboration and Support: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication to ensure alignment on project goals. Provide ongoing support and training for end-users on data tools and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate existing data processes and models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What we look for

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Apache Spark, Java, or SQL. Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matlab).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in data engineering, data transformation, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services or risk management sector.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to working in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
