YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and commercially minded Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to act as a trusted partner to the CEO.
In addition to providing high-level executive support, the role will play a key part in coordinating strategic priorities, driving organisational initiatives, supporting governance activities, and ensuring the effective execution of business objectives across the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business priorities, coordinating executive initiatives, supporting governance activities, and ensuring effective execution of actions arising from leadership discussions. Acting as an extension of the CEO, the role requires exceptional stakeholder management, discretion, organisational skills, and the ability to operate with confidence in a fast-paced environment.
Executive & Strategic Support
- Manage the CEO's calendar, priorities, communications, travel, and day-to-day activities.
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations, reports, business updates, and correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, actions, and follow-up activities to ensure execution of key priorities.
- Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information with the highest levels of professionalism.
Strategy Execution & Business Management
- Lead the coordination and delivery of strategic business objectives and CEO-sponsored initiatives.
- Take ownership of key organisational priorities, ensuring alignment, progress, and successful execution.
- Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring clear accountability and delivery against agreed objectives.
- Monitor progress against milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, proactively escalating and resolving issues where required.
- Establish and maintain reporting, governance and action-tracking processes to support effective decision-making.
- Drive accountability across leadership teams to ensure actions, commitments, and strategic objectives are delivered on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance, organisational effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Governance & Leadership Coordination
- Coordinate Board, Executive Leadership Team, and Senior Management meetings.
- Prepare agenda packs, reports, minutes, action logs, and governance documentation.
- Ensure effective tracking and completion of leadership actions and commitments.
- Support compliance, audit, corporate reporting, and document management activities.
Stakeholder, Communication & Event Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Support communication between leadership teams, business functions, clients, and external partners.
- Coordinate leadership events, off-sites, conferences, executive visits, and stakeholder engagements.
- Support internal communications, executive messaging, and employee engagement initiatives.
YOUR PROFILE
- Significant experience supporting C-suite executives within a complex corporate environment.
- Experience operating in a Chief of Staff, PMO, Executive Office, Business Management, or senior Executive Assistant capacity.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating strategic initiatives, governance activities, and executive-level projects.
- Strong project management, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Third-level qualification in Business, Management, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
