EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Financial Controller Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to financial monitoring, budget control, and performance analysis for our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining finance, management control, and reporting, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices.

You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Financial Controller Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in the financial monitoring, control, and management of the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Financial monitoring: help track financial flows, budgets, and variances against forecasts.
  • Quantitative analysis: produce reliable analyses to support management decisions.
  • Budget control: monitor budgets by department and analyze observed variances.
  • Data reliability: review the quality and consistency of reported financial information.
  • Control procedures: contribute to strengthening and improving internal procedures.
  • Reporting: build and maintain clear, up-to-date financial dashboards.
  • Anomaly control: identify inconsistencies and contribute to resolving them.
  • Forecasting: contribute to preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Operational support: help teams understand their financial indicators.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the sales, administrative, and management teams.
  • Process optimization: contribute to automating reporting and improving financial tracking tools.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying finance, accounting, management, economics, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in numbers, financial analysis, and management control.
  • You are proficient in Excel and comfortable using management and reporting tools.
  • You are methodical and highly attentive to the reliability of financial data.
  • You are comfortable analyzing budgets and identifying variances.
  • You can synthesize financial information and present it clearly.
  • You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the companies and assignments.
