EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Community Manager / Social Media Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to community engagement and the management of the company’s social media channels. You will hold a versatile position combining social media, content creation, and audience relations, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Community Manager / Social Media Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in growing our communities and strengthening our presence across social media platforms.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Editorial planning: build and maintain a consistent publishing calendar aligned with communication objectives.
  • Content production: create formats adapted to different platforms and audiences.
  • Account management: support the day-to-day management of the company’s social media channels.
  • Content publishing: prepare, schedule, and publish content across relevant platforms.
  • Community engagement: respond to messages and comments and maintain regular interaction with the audience.
  • Moderation: manage community interactions while protecting the brand’s image and tone of voice.
  • Social reporting: prepare regular reports on account and content performance.
  • Performance tracking: analyze engagement, reach, interactions, and community growth.
  • Trend monitoring: identify emerging formats, topics, and social media trends that can be leveraged.
  • Collaboration management: contribute to identifying and managing partnerships with creators and external partners.
  • Content adaptation: adjust tone, format, and messaging to each platform and audience.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving content planning, publishing, and reporting tools.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying communications, digital marketing, social media, content creation, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in social media, online communities, and emerging content formats.
  • You understand the main social media platforms and their specific characteristics.
  • You understand social media conventions and can adapt your tone to each platform.
  • You are comfortable using content creation, scheduling, and planning tools.
  • You are able to analyze key social media metrics including engagement, reach, interactions, and audience growth.
  • You have excellent writing skills and can interact effectively with different audiences.
  • You are responsive, creative, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
