Embedded Software Engineer (Graduate/Junior) - Help Shape the Future of Batteries
Are you passionate about embedded software, electronics, and creating technology that makes a real difference?

At Lithium Optima, we develop advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) for Lithium-ion, Sodium-ion, Solid-State, and next-generation battery technologies. Our solutions help make electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and sustainable technologies safer, smarter, and more reliable.

We may be a young company, but our founding team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in battery and BMS development. Now we're growing, launching new products, and looking for curious and ambitious engineers to join our journey.

Whether you're a recent graduate, finishing your studies, or already have a few years of experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As part of our engineering team, you'll work on real products from day one.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Develop embedded software in C/C++
  • Work directly with STM32 and ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
  • Learn how professional Battery Management Systems are designed and developed
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and product validation
  • Work closely with experienced engineers and industry experts
  • Contribute ideas that directly influence our products and technology roadmap
  • See your code running in real-world battery systems

This is not a role where you'll spend months fixing minor bugs. You'll be involved in developing technology that matters.

What We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything. What matters most is your curiosity, motivation, and willingness to learn.

You might be a great fit if you:
  • Enjoy programming in C or C++
  • Have worked with microcontrollers during your studies, projects, or hobbies
  • Like solving technical challenges
  • Want to understand how hardware and software work together
  • Enjoy building things that have a real-world impact
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
  • STM32 microcontrollers
  • ARM Cortex-M architecture
  • MATLAB/Simulink
  • Electronics design or debugging
  • Battery technology, electric vehicles, or renewable energy systems

Why Join Lithium Optima?
We offer something that larger companies often cannot:

Startup Environment

We have a flat organization where good ideas win, regardless of job title.

International Team

Collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures who share a passion for technology and innovation.

Build a Sustainable Future

Help develop technologies that support electrification, renewable energy, and the global transition toward a more sustainable future.
