What you'll do
- As a Quality Control Management Intern in our Global Supply Chain Organization, based in our global headquarters in Amsterdam, you will support key initiatives in the Global Center of Excellence (CoE), working on projects that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our organization. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digitalization deployment, method development, and global collaboration, while contributing to impactful projects.
- Support the development and deployment of global Quality Control initiatives, including digital solutions, analytical method standardization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to the global rollout of a digital QC Asset Management system by supporting equipment data standardization, data migration, process alignment, and user adoption across laboratory sites.
- Collaborate with QC, Engineering, Digital, and site teams to improve asset data quality, equipment lifecycle management, and laboratory operational effectiveness.
- Support the development, optimization, harmonization, and transfer of analytical methods to drive consistency and efficiency across the global QC network.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, method transfer packages, and best-practice guidance to support global standardization efforts.
- Participate in troubleshooting, data analysis, and improvement activities to enhance performance.
What makes you a good fit
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field.
- A strong interest in quality control management, analytical techniques, and continuous improvement.
- Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality management is a plus.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, Comfortable working with data, identifying trends, attention to details, and deriving meaningful insights.
- Strong Documentation Practices: Demonstrate technical documentation skills and ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and well-structured technical documentation supporting analytical method development and global method standardization activities.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment focused on quality, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Proactive & Hands-On: Proactive mindset, eager to learn, and able to take initiative while working in a fast-paced global environment.
