Market Activities Inspector (M/F)

BNP Paribas is a leading international banking group, present in numerous countries and committed to serving its clients and society. Within the Group, the General Inspection (Inspection Générale) operates independently on behalf of General Management, conducting audit missions across all activities, both in France and internationally, to ensure the quality of risk control systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.

What does the day-to-day look like?

As part of the teams dedicated to market activities, you will carry out high-value-added audit missions in a demanding international environment. This role will allow you to develop a comprehensive vision of the front-to-back chain and control functions.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting investigations and analyses of market activities in France and internationally.
  • Evaluating control systems and associated risks in interaction with various functions.
  • Formulating recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of the audited organizations and activities.
  • Presenting your findings to the management teams of the audited entities.
  • Gradually taking autonomous ownership of specific topics and contributing to the guidance of less experienced inspectors.

On average, you will participate in three missions per year, each lasting approximately ten weeks, across the main international financial hubs.

The position is based in Paris. Occasional travel may be required depending on the missions, though it is not systematic.

And after?

This position serves as a genuine experience accelerator, allowing you to develop a global vision of market activities and the Group's strategic challenges.

Through these missions, you will strengthen your technical skills, your analytical capacity, and your understanding of control systems in complex environments. This experience will open various career evolution opportunities toward leadership roles within market activities, control functions, or more broadly across the Group.

  • Company agreements, company savings and retirement plans, profit-sharing, and incentive schemes.
  • Health and disability insurance, access to the corporate restaurant, and social and cultural activities.
  • Flexibility with a hybrid work rhythm, including up to 50 days of remote work per semester, to be defined with your manager.

Join a Group committed to its clients and society, and contribute to its transformation toward a more sustainable model.

Are you our next Market Activities Inspector?

You have at least three years of experience (including internships and apprenticeships) in financial market activities (quantitative, trading, structuring, sales, audit, or specialized consulting) or in market risk control.

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or university equivalent.

In particular, you possess the following skills:
  • Expertise in market activities and their associated risks.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills when interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team and within an international environment.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in demanding contexts.

Proficiency in financial mathematics or quantitative finance, as well as fluency in English (both spoken and written), will be highly appreciated.
