The Maison recently united its Clienteling Community, dedicated to equipping Dior Retail Talents with the tools necessary to foster meaningful client relationships and deliver memorable experiences. Uniting over 1,000 clienteling experts from across the world, this digital event provided a platform to share best practices and engage in dynamic discussions.
Hosted by Laura Destand, Retail Marketing & Client Development Director, Barbara Vautrey, Head of Client Development, and Mathilde Cadé Derville, Client Development Manager, this live digital session featured insights from Maison leaders Severine Fritsch-Fontanges, Global Retail Performance Director, and Ludovic Watine, EMEA E-Commerce Director & Northern Europe General Manager, on cultivating a client-centric mindset, highlighting the importance of prioritizing client satisfaction, as well as addressing questions from participants joining from France, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond.
Severine shares: ‘Retail Performance serves as the voice of Retail within central teams, with key mission statements focused on gaining efficiency, enhancing the retail client experience, facilitating our Boutique teams' tasks, and maintaining simple and efficient solutions. Dior's star app, ranked number one, exemplifies a complete tool designed to streamline daily retail operations seamlessly.’
‘Opening a new Boutique in a new country means starting from scratch, underlining the pivotal role of client anticipation where every detail matters. Clienteling becomes an all-encompassing effort involving everyone. Teams must cultivate their unique client base with a personalized approach, nurturing individualized interactions. Customer Development Managers (CDMs) act as the crucial link within the store, ensuring a unified vision of clienteling while serving as strategic business partners for management. In 2024, our focus on clienteling intensifies, specifically targeting existing clients through a systematic approach and the utilization of appropriate tools and methods,’ adds Ludovic.
