Meet Loueva Poilane, Sales Advisor Apprentice at the Christian Dior Couture Boutique of Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf in Paris, and discover the behind-the-scenes of her #DreamInDior experience.

What does #DreamInDior mean for you?

For me #DreamInDior means that even if your dream or your goal seems unattainable, you have to believe in it. If you create your mindset and you put everything in your power to succeed, you can manifest your dreams! Personally, my dream has just become reality since I had the privilege to enter the Maison Dior, one of the most prestigious Maison of fashion luxury. 

What amazes you the most in your work?

I think what amazes me the most is the fact that I can explore my creativity in fashion by creating looks and outfits with such wonderful pieces! Then I love to share that creativity and sense of fashion with my clients. I love to put in light luxury pieces, how they were made, with which materials, how you can wear them, speak about the history of the pieces and their inspirations.

How does Dior help you grow on a daily basis?

Dior helps me grow my skills as a sales advisor, I learn a lot about the art of sales and its specificities such as customer relationship, materials expertise, creating a unique customer experience offer and many other things. On the other hand, I think that Dior helps me grow as a human being. I share a lot of values that were dear to Monsieur Dior like the fact that he loved receiving guests or the fact that he loved women, and he wanted them to be happy and feel beautiful. I also have the chance to evolve with a wonderful and caring team. I enjoy learning with them everyday. 

Who do you rely on when you face challenges and why? 

When I face challenges or if I need advice, I usually rely on my mentor Zhijian Sang. He has a five years experience into the Maison and he is a really good salesman mostly in the Women Ready to Wear and in Jewelry. He often offers me really good advice on how to improve myself at the Sales Ceremony and has already supported me during sales. He also congratulates me when he is proud of my work. I can also rely on Manon Volant who is the first sailor of my department. She has always been caring for me. She helped me with everything administrative, giving me advice as a wonderful sales advisor especially with the client relationship. She is always available when I have questions or If I need informations. Eva Maillot, Junior Manager, is also someone I can rely on, very caring and attentive. She is always seeing the qualities of a person and puts them forward to push you up! Léa Robert, Junior Manager, she is filled with dynamism and positivity! I appreciate this energy everyday. I can of course rely on the women Ready to Wear team they all are very caring and attentive. I truly enjoy working with them!
