Are you a Technical Writer who enjoys turning complex technology into clear, structured documentation?
For an Amaris Consulting project within the medical device industry, we are looking for a Technical Writer to support the development and maintenance of documentation for advanced imaging systems used in healthcare worldwide.
This is a temporary project until the end of 2026, with an immediate start.
Your responsibilities- Draft and update technical manuals, installation guides and product specifications.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Integrate new software functionalities and product options into existing documentation.
- Work with modular documentation and single-source content principles.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers and subject matter experts.
- Ensure documentation follows internal standards, branding guidelines and applicable medical device requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, technical documentation or training materials.
- Vocational or higher education, for example in Technical Writing, Applied Psychology, Training & Development or a related field.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or markup languages.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- A structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience working with technical and/or regulatory information is a plus.
