Where do we come from? 

Our history begins with the establishment of the Swedish forest company SCA in 1929 which over the course of almost 90 years – through acquisitions and joint ventures – transformed into a global conglomerate producing and selling forest products, packaging, tissue products as well as personal care and medical products. In 2017, the SCA Group was divided into two listed companies, SCA, a forest products company, and the hygiene and health company Essity. 

What do we do? 

The name Essity stems from the words “essentials” and “necessities”. Hygiene and health are the essence of well-being. Better hygiene and health are necessities for better lives and our products and solutions play an essential role in improving wellbeing. This is what we do at Essity. And that is why we call ourselves Essity. We develop, supply, and sell products and solutions that enable superior hygiene outcomes and experiences at home as well as away from home by supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of hygiene routines as well as by preventing, treating, and monitoring health conditions. 

Our purpose is to break barriers to well-being for the benefit of consumers, patients, care givers, and customers across the globe. As well as for the benefit of society and the planet.

We operate across three scalable business areas:

• Consumer Goods - Personal and home hygiene for all stages of life

• Health & Medical - Holistic health and medical solutions along the continuum of care

• Professional Hygiene – Hygiene and cleaning solutions for a broad set of  commercial applications

Sales are conducted in approximately 150 countries under the leading global brands TENA and Tork, and other strong brands, such as Actimove, JOBST, Knix, Leukoplast, Libero, Libresse, Lotus, Nosotras, Saba, Tempo, TOM Organic, Vinda and Zewa.

What we are looking for

• Ambitious individuals ready to start dynamic career at Essity.
• Passion for Manufacturing, Marketing or Sales.
• University degree and a maximum of 24 months of work experience. Prior work experience is not mandatory; however, relevant internships may give you an edge.
• Results-oriented and committed.
• Eager to make a difference and courageous in acting on own ideas.
• Values in harmony with our Beliefs and Behaviors.
• Business fluency in written and spoken English.
