EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Site Acquisition Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to identifying, analyzing, and following up on potential locations for our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining real estate, market analysis, and business development, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices.

You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Site Acquisition Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in identifying and analyzing new locations that support business development and expansion.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Opportunity sourcing: identify sites, premises, and assets that meet defined criteria.
  • Deal analysis: assess the technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of opportunities.
  • Site search: prospect locations suited to business expansion and development needs.
  • Location analysis: assess site accessibility, visibility, and commercial potential.
  • File preparation: gather the technical and administrative information required for each location.
  • Market studies: analyze catchment areas, pricing, and local market dynamics.
  • Stakeholder relations: communicate with brokers, landlords, and service providers.
  • Decision materials: prepare clear and structured presentation documents for decision-makers.
  • Negotiation follow-up: support discussions through signature and track key deadlines.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving tracking tools and opportunity databases.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying real estate, finance, urban planning, business, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in market analysis, location sourcing, and negotiation.
  • You are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and contractual documents.
  • You are comfortable with fieldwork and location analysis.
  • You can compare several sites using commercial, technical, and financial criteria.
  • You have strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the companies and assignments.
