The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in executing procurement processes and supporting operational excellence across the team. This position combines transactional procurement tasks with broader responsibilities in communication, process improvement, and team collaboration.

Tasks

Independently carry out tasks in purchase requisition validation, shopping cart creation, purchase order processing, order adjustments, and goods receipt booking
Resolve routine supplier issues and respond to internal/external inquiries via email or phone in a timely and professional manner

Handle escalations by conducting error analyses and proposing solutions
Trigger vendor creation and updates; maintain accurate procurement records and update internal documentation
Actively apply internal procedures, propose improvements, and serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes; participate in additional projects as required
Support Team Leader and senior colleagues with operational tasks; assist in onboarding new hires and provide guidance to less experienced team members
Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies; maintain a high level of service and contribute to a positive image of LGBS toward internal and external customers

Requirements

Command of English (written and spoken) - min. B2
Command of German (written and spoken) - min. B2
Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines

At least 1 year of professional experience in Procurement area (for Procurement Specialist role)
Good command of MS office and Windows applications
Good command of Procurement related tools
