Your MissionAs our Email Marketing & Digital Growth Intern, you will be the driving force behind our customer retention and email acquisition strategy. Working closely with our Acquisition Manager, you will take full ownership of our email marketing ecosystem—from initial brainstorming and punchy copywriting to full integration, translation, and performance tracking.
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven, and highly organized marketer who knows how to craft emails that people actually want to open and turn subscribers into loyal community members.
What You’ll Do 1. End-to-End Email Campaign Management- Campaign Strategy & Copywriting: Brainstorm, write, and design high-impact email campaigns that align with product launches, racing season highlights, and brand stories.
- Klaviyo Integration & Design: Build, test, and schedule beautiful, mobile-optimized emails within Klaviyo (or equivalent platform), ensuring flawless layout and links.
- Localization & Translation: Adapt and translate email content between English and French, ensuring the unique Näak tone and trail running jargon resonate perfectly across both markets.
- Automated Flows: Monitor, build, and optimize our automated email and SMS journeys (Welcome series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Win-back) to maximize customer lifetime value.
- A/B Testing & Popups: Create and optimize website popups to grow our subscriber list, and run A/B tests on subject lines, designs, and copy to boost open and click rates.
- Nutrition Calculator & Leads: Manage and optimize our online Nutrition Calculator to capture new leads and nurture them through tailored email sequences.
- SEO Optimization: Implement smart on-page SEO tactics to drive organic traffic to our website and landing pages.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key email metrics (Open Rates, CTR, Revenue per Email) and produce monthly reports to continuously improve our online sales funnels.
- The Passion: A deep passion for trail running or endurance sports. You understand the culture, the race calendar, the jargon (UTMB, D+, ravitaillements), and how athletes think.
- Email Marketing Savvy: You have a strong marketing acumen and understand how email funnels work. Prior experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar ESPs is a huge plus.
- Exceptional Copywriting & Translation: You are fully bilingual (English/French). You can write catchy subject lines, compelling email copy, and smoothly translate between both languages without losing the brand's voice.
- Analytical Mind & Attention to Detail: You love testing ideas, looking at data to see what worked, and you never let a broken link or a typo slip through into an inbox.
- Organization & Autonomy: You are structured, fast to learn, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
