Accommodation is fully covered by Cohabs, as well as visa costs, and you will receive an additional monthly stipend of $800.
At Cohabs, we are building more than just shared homes - we are creating vibrant communities where people can live, connect, and thrive. As a Sales Intern, you’ll play a key role in welcoming new members into our community and supporting their journey from first contact to move-in and beyond.
You’ll work closely with our Sales, Customer Experience, Maintenance, and Operations teams across New York and Washington DC, helping us deliver a seamless and memorable member experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Sales:
- Qualify leads and potential members through calls, providing information about Cohabs spaces in New York and Washington DC and answering their questions.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, sales activities, and feedback in our CRM.
- Monitor relevant platforms to identify and recruit potential new members.
- Follow up with leads and potential members throughout the sales process.
- Support the sales team in converting leads into new members.
Customer Experience:
- Help onboard new members, ensuring they have all the information needed for a smooth move-in process.
- Serve as a point of contact for members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during their stay.
- Gather feedback from members to continuously improve their experience at Cohabs.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure that issues within our properties are promptly addressed.
What we’re looking for:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of people.
- Mandatory good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing concepts.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
