Comgest is seeking motivated students studying corporate finance and financial markets to work as interns within our 4 equity investment teams, based in Paris.

Join our Talent Program for a 6-month internship, where you'll have the chance to potentially being offered a permanent position with us. Internship will begin in early January 2027

General Overview of Responsibilities:

The aim of this talent program is to experience the work of a Financial Analyst. You will work closely with our Analysts/Portfolio Managers from one of our 4 relevant teams and strategies: Europe, Global, Emerging Markets, or US to help optimize the performance of our pooled investment vehicles.

Within each team, in conjunction with the Analysts/Portfolio Managers, you will be in charge of various assignments such as:

  • Financial analysis of companies in the covered area (Europe, Global, Emerging Markets, US)
  • Valuation and financial modeling
  • Monitoring portfolios
  • Searching for investment opportunities
  • Participation in roadshows and creation of reports
  • Specific sector studies, updating portfolio monitoring tools, etc.

Profile:

  • Student in master’s degree – end of studies.
  • Prior experience in asset management considered a plus
  • Strong interest in financial markets, especially in economic and financial news
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, and if possible, some experience with Bloomberg and/or FactSet
  • Responsive, serious, adaptable, good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
  • Detail-oriented, capable of analysis and writing
  • Strong ability to work in a team, in an international environment
  • Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken
  • French and/or other language is a plus
