VIE - IT, Digital & Master Data Specialist - Mungia

We are looking for a proactive VIE as an IT, Digital & Master Data Specialist to support the digital and data foundations of the MESA industrial transformation program, based in Mungia, Spain !

The VIE will play a key role in structuring data, deploying digital tools, and supporting SAP activities to enable efficient industrialization, warehouse redesign, and the ramp-up of MESA operations.

Main Responsibilities

1. Master Data & SAP Readiness

• Support definition, structuring and cleansing of industrial and logistics master data (materials, BOMs, routings, work centres, warehouse locations).
• Participate in alignment of master data with SAP configuration and industrial needs, in coordination with central teams.
• Support consistency between production, warehouse, planning and quality data.

2. Digitalization of Industrial & Logistics Processes

• Support digitalization needs linked to:
  • Warehouse redesign (flows, rack organization, picking processes)
  • Material handling and WMS interfaces
  • Production and test areas (labelling, traceability)
• Contribute to identification and deployment of digital tools or applications supporting shopfloor and warehouse operations.
• Support testing, validation and documentation of deployed solutions.

3. IT Coordination & Stakeholders Interface

• Act as a local interface between operations teams, IT, supply chain and external partners.
• Support clarification of IT scope and needs for MESA-G ramp-up and MESA-M reorganization.
• Participate in workshops and working sessions to consolidate requirements and priorities.

4. Data Quality & Reporting

• Support implementation of data quality standards and governance rules.
• Help build simple dashboards or reporting tools to support decision-making during the transformation phase.
• Document processes, data models and digital workflows.

Education : Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain or similar field.

Experience : 1- 2 years of experience in a production or industrial environment (internships or apprenticeships included)

Skills and Mindset :

• Solid understanding of data structures and information systems.
• Strong interest in ERP systems (SAP) and industrial IT environments.
• Good proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Data analysis skills are appreciated.
• Curious and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to interact with both IT and operational teams.
• Structured, autonomous and reliable way of working.
• Good communication skills in English & Spanish.
