Responsibilities

Together with our international team, you will work on the development of modern open source frameworks and tools such as J2E, microservices, Docker, SQL, Kubernetes (Openshift is a plus), Maven and reverse proxy technologies (e.g. Apache, Nginx)
You support the design of new innovative features in collaboration with product owners, business analysts and other stakeholders and contribute to their implementation
You will be proactively involved and actively support the implementation and further development of standards
Your area of responsibility also includes the creation of technical concepts and documentation
Stay up to date on new technological developments and best practices

Qualifications

We look forward to your successfully completing your studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable courses
Ideally, you already have initial experience with Java and development environments such as Maven, Git/Subversion and Jenkins
You are familiar with concepts such as DevOps, continuous delivery, clean code, TDD and agile methods
Technology: Java, Microprofile, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgresql, Kafka, Jmeter, Rest Services, Quarkus
Platform and Hosting: AWS -> EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager
OS: Linux any distro
Methodology: Agile development
Project management tools: Jira, Confluence
You are characterized by a very analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking
You work independently and approach problems proactively
Very good communication skills English round off your profile - German is a plus, but not mandatory
You're open to a hybrid way of working with weekly visits in our Katowice office.
