EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Translation Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to translating, proofreading, and adapting content for our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining translation, writing, and communication, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic bilingual North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Translation Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in ensuring the linguistic quality and consistency of our content.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Content translation: translate internal and external materials while preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent.
  • Proofreading and editing: review spelling, grammar, syntax, and terminological consistency.
  • Marketing translation: adapt sales, marketing, and communication materials.
  • Internal document translation: translate procedures, guides, HR documents, and other professional materials.
  • Request management: prioritize and track translation requests from different teams.
  • Cultural adaptation: adapt content to the linguistic and cultural characteristics of target markets.
  • Terminology management: build and maintain glossaries and translation memories.
  • Quality control: ensure translation quality and consistency across all materials.
  • Deadline management: organize your workload to meet established deadlines.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the marketing, communication, and sales teams.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving translation tools and proofreading methods.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying translation, foreign languages, linguistics, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in languages, writing, and intercultural communication.
  • You have full command of at least two languages, including French and English.
  • You have excellent writing skills in your native language.
  • You are highly attentive to quality, precision, and terminological consistency.
  • You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
