About DynamicWhale

DynamicWhale is a fast-growing B2B sales consultancy supporting high-growth software companies with their go-to-market execution. Behind our commercial operations, we are continuously developing the technical infrastructure, integrations, automation, and internal systems that allow us to scale.

We are looking for a highly driven and technically strong intern to join and support our existing tech team for six months, with the clear ambition to potentially convert the right person into a full-time technical role afterward.

The Role

This is a technical internship, not an AI-focused internship.

You will work on real technical and operational challenges across our internal systems. Your work will include integrations, APIs, automation, scripting, data flows, debugging, and improving the reliability and scalability of our technology infrastructure.

AI may be used as part of our technology stack, but we are specifically looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals beyond simply knowing how to use AI tools.

The three qualities we prioritise most are:

Technical Ability. Drive. Communication.

What You Will Work On

  • Build and optimise technical workflows and internal automation
  • Develop and maintain integrations between different platforms
  • Work with APIs, webhooks, databases, and data pipelines
  • Write scripts and technical solutions using Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies
  • Debug system issues and identify root causes
  • Monitor and improve the reliability of existing systems
  • Structure and standardise data flows between platforms
  • Support the development of scalable internal tools
  • Research and implement new technical solutions
  • Document systems, integrations, and technical processes
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Collaborate directly with our existing tech team and internal stakeholders

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys technology, building systems, and solving technical problems.

You should have:

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Coding experience, ideally with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Understanding of APIs, webhooks, databases, integrations, data structures, and system logic
  • Ability to understand how different software systems interact
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking
  • Ability to independently investigate and troubleshoot technical problems
  • High learning speed and curiosity for new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
  • High level of drive, ownership, and responsibility
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues

Experience with AI tools is useful, but AI utilisation alone is not what we are looking for. We want someone who understands technology at a deeper level and can build, integrate, debug, and improve systems.

What Will Make You Stand Out

Show us what you have built.

Personal projects, GitHub repositories, applications, scripts, APIs, integrations, automations, databases, websites, or other technical projects are highly valuable.

We care less about having the perfect CV and more about seeing evidence of technical ability, curiosity, drive, and the ability to turn problems into working solutions.

What We Offer

  • Competitive internship compensation
  • Real opportunity to convert into a full-time technical position after six months
  • Hands-on experience working on systems that are actively used by the business
  • Direct collaboration with our existing tech team
  • Exposure to software integrations, automation, data infrastructure, APIs, and system architecture
  • Significant responsibility and ownership
  • Direct exposure to senior stakeholders and business decision-making
  • Fast learning and development in a growing company
  • Office in a leading startup hub in central Rotterdam

What We Are Ultimately Looking For

We are not looking for someone to simply complete an internship.

We want to identify a high-potential technical talent who can grow with DynamicWhale long term.

If you combine strong technical ability, high drive, excellent communication skills, and genuine curiosity for how systems work, we want to hear from you.
