About the role

As a Process Engineer Manufacturing, you will help ensure our production and assembly processes run reliably, efficiently, and safely. You will work closely with colleagues across Operations, Facilities, Account Management, and Project Management to strengthen daily performance and support continuous improvement. Your contribution will directly influence how we optimise workflows, reduce waste, and deliver high‑quality results for our customers and partners.

This role will be initially for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.

How you will contribute

  • Support the Operations team on‑site and internationally to achieve engineering objectives, including occasional shift support when project needs require it.
  • Provide electrical, mechanical, and systematic support for multi‑functional production and assembly lines, collaborating with vendors to deliver effective on‑site solutions.
  • Evaluate production issues and implement preventative and corrective actions to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
  • Contribute to NPI and other internal and external projects throughout the full engineering life cycle.
  • Develop and update headcount analysis tools, prepare clear reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives across Operations, IT, and related teams.
  • Sustain and optimise processes using recognised improvement tools, manage engineering activities, and help reduce waste through MTM‑based time studies.
  • Prepare engineering studies that reflect evolving operational processes and present solutions and commercial models for business development.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and contractors to develop and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Make informed recommendations on purchasing or leasing capital equipment relevant to specific projects.
  • Contribute to broader Engineering and Facilities activities as part of a collaborative team, reporting to the Manager Engineering.

What you will bring

  • A technical degree or equivalent experience, with practical exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments.
  • Experience applying recognised improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 5S, MTM/MOST, TPM, or VSM to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • The ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver engineering projects across their full life cycle.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills that support problem‑solving and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD, Minitab, and project management tools to support daily engineering activities.
